Dj Rahdom: Hip Hop DJ / Event coordinator / Artist Manager / Production Manager / Photographer

"As a Hip Hop DJ, I focus my style and music selection on underground artist who feed my soul and mind with raw beats and conscious lyrical content. Not trying to be all righteous either. I don't support the commercial industry who keep the masses jiggified and unaware of the truth. Growing up in South Africa has also given me another outlook and has taught me to look at a situation objectively. As a social activist within the Hip Hop movement, I have obtained knowledge on the different functions and operations of various levels within society, which sparked off an interest in event organizing under the auspices of "Unlearn"! The aim behind this was to create a platform for local talents and organize effective support structures to feature underground artist who struggle to get their message heard."

"As a representative from South Africa I feel it is very important to expose a positive point of view, with multi-national corporations in control of all media, a very one sided view is given to the masses around the world, so people stay ignorent to the real reality that exists. Africans are always looked down at, and we ourselves are made to feel subordinates to the rest of the world. If a sense of pride can be generated in the hearts and minds of the people our nation would grow and evolve more. There are way too many styles and talents to go unrecognized, so as on activist I see my responsability to my community and peoples."

The sister is really representing for the queens in the movement, in a BIG way. Whats more, she can graff too...which makes her hot property in anyones Hip Hop books. Well known all over S.A not only for her nice looks and styles... but also for her ability to work with everyone in the underground business. Truth is people want to work with her cause of her direction, vision and zest.
