SPF Media : First skateboarding documentaries in South Africa

Especially for those people who thought South Africa was still in the Stone Ages... and believe me this is no joke... Enough people come to our shores and be like... "wheres the lions , tigers and elephants... I thought they were roaming in the streets." Well sorry to burst your bubble buddy... Big Bro has already set up shop! But this got nothing to do with this shit...I mean skateboarding! I'm sure deep in the African jungles you are sure to find some skaters... where there is a road there is a board!

SPF-MEDIA are proud documentary makers of the first skateboarding documentaries in South Africa. To date they've put together no less then three doc's; Ad-lib, Journey Days and Homesick, with the main focus on showing how South African skateboarding has progressed recently. Apart from this they also did some documentaries for non-governmental organizations that was looking to find funds abroad for housing schemes. Impressive... Then again they also do music videos for bands who wants to hook up with record companies.

Its basically 2 brothers who started filming backside and frontside 50-50s on Sundays with close friends. Slowly they built up an archive of shocking footage of 50-50s and then went from there... If you ever been to the Alex Groll Cup at Century City, you would have a good idea about the standard of S.A. skating! Yo I was there last year and was completely taken by this little kid called Moses... who left everyone open mouthed gapping. Yo this kid got an incredible future ahead of him considering he's still in the junior devision... a power house for real! It was no surprise when they announched him the winner of his devision and rightfully so to! You can just see this kid Moses splitting the Red Sea for S.A. skateboarding. You go boy... Make no mistake madd other cats are really sick on the skate scene now... be sure to catch the clipping! Incredible shit...
