Met04 brings you the latest in interactive or experience
based design, cutting edge motion design and animation,
new school illustrations and digital design, as well
as other contemporary African Art. Through setting up
an online gallery for visual artist (illustrators, designers,
graff-writers...) to exhibit their work on the internet;
Met04 showcases new school African contempory Art and
Design. Its a great initiaive run by a group of young
dynamic and enthusiastic designers from South Africa
with incredible ideas to set African designers amongst
the fore-runners in their field. Met04 is also an ongoing
case study of Future Media in Africa exploring the latest
in Art and Technology. |

And is in the process of setting up the Future Media
Collective, an impressive network of highly specialized
strategic partners.

| It
furthermore aims to offer a series of workshops offering
creatives an open forum to share "their trick of
the trade". It's very involved with the advancement
of urban art and is one of the strong pillars of the
Azanian Urban Cultures Development.Speaking to their
art director (Justin Bradbury) one gets the impression
that he's got a reservoir of ideas and creativity. They
are in process to set up an online streetmap with a
clear indication where to find some of the best graffiti
in and around Cape Town. Its worth looking out for this!
