Uncanny Cessmen : From all corners of the African Continent

An uncanny team of from all corners of the African continent, drawn together by fate and the laws of nature, with only one common factor amongst them. The chosen ones were first introduced to each other and their destinies in the mid eighties, whilst our mothers and fathers slaved away deep down in the mines.

The chessmen attended a bush school in the middle of the Kalahari desert where we became accustomed to the laws of nature and well versed in the art of indigenous warfare. Coming from the heart of Africa, more specifically, a small town run by Debswana. The Cessmen were introduced to the concept of colonialism at an early age in Jwaneng, more commonly known as ‘Mekhah’, is a small town rich in colour, minerals and raw-materials. The main presence for the Oppenheimers and their army of demons is our seemingly endless supply of diamonds.
What started out, as fun soon became serious when it occurred to eye that the gift that was granted to us by the most high is of the utmost importance.

Uncanny Cess Men combine forces with extreme activists to form the Native Youth Council: an organization concerned with the empowerment of previously disadvantaged youth in Southern Africa.
" When we realized what we had influenced over the younger generation, a decision was made to dedicate all time and effort to the youth. In a country where you are liable to be murdered for a cellular phone we have really allowed our children to believe that the only Africans that live comfortably are the government and criminals. Uncanny Cess aim to restore pride in our African Heritage, our ancestors were kings and queens afterall. We want children in the townships to believe and dream that they can own houses on the hill and in Camps Bay...dreams come true. "
